Gold on pace to close at 2-year high

December gold GCZ6, +0.99% gained $13.40, or 1%, to trade at $1,373 an ounce, after notching a modest 0.2% rise Monday. The metal is on pace to log its highest close since March 2014, according to FactSet data based on the most active contract.
